Community Supported Agriculture
Many people are searching for ways to get back in touch with Nature, the soil, themselves, their families. In an age of "immediate satisfaction" people have become disengaged with our planet, and sometimes with ourselves and our families.

Community Supported Agriculture as promoted by Sweeten Organics, is not only participation in delicious, health promoting vegetables, but in becoming one with the food, in it's cultivation, planting and harvest where you are trained by the experts in the field on site to learn the principles and practices of successful sustainable agriculture. Your take away is the fruit of your labor in your share of the Community gardens, but the knowledge, skills and tutelage to master the skills, understand and apply the principles of sustainable agriculture. Once a month share 3 hours to work and socialize with the Sweeten CSA family. Work the soil once a month and also learn how to take the produce grown and turn into sumptuous and delectable meals full of flavor and vitality.

Advantages for consumers:

  • Eat ultra-fresh food, with all the flavor and vitamin benefits
  • Get exposed to new vegetables and new ways of cooking
  • Usually get to visit the farm at least once a season
  • Find that kids typically favor food from "their" farm – even veggies they've never been known to eat
  • Develop a relationship with the farmer who grows their food and learn more about how food is grown
